  • 100% Phase Unbalanced Output

Dynamically diverts power to heavily loaded single-phase machinery without drawing expensive grid electricity.

More product details

Modern 550W–700W+ solar modules operate at 13–17 A, causing standard residential 12.5 A inverters to clip peak midday power. The GW15K-ET features 30 A MPPT channels (38 A Isc) to accept two parallel high-current strings per tracker with zero clipping.

  • Dual 30 A MPPT channels (4 DC inputs total) accommodate high-power bifacial arrays up to 22,500 Wp.
  • 50 A high-voltage battery port pushes up to 15 kW directly into storage (200–800 V window).
  • Smart forced-air cooling maintains full continuous 15 kW throughput under heavy industrial cycling (-35 to +60 °C).

Dynamic phase balancing with 15 kVA whole-facility emergency power.

Dynamic phase balancing with 15 kVA whole-facility emergency power.

Commercial workshops and estates frequently run asymmetric single-phase equipment. The GW15K-ET dynamically shifts power to supply up to 100% of capacity onto a single heavily loaded phase, preventing costly grid import fees. 100% phase-unbalanced capability shifts power dynamically to loaded phases to eliminate peak demand charges. 15 kVA continuous three-phase backup sustains critical commercial sub-panels within 10 ms of grid failure. IP66 heavy-duty cast-aluminum casing provides complete dust and high-pressure water protection.

Takes two MPPTs up to 1000 V maximum input

Two independent trackers operate across a 200 to 850 V window. Continuous 15000 W three-phase output powers demanding facilities.

Pairs 200 to 800 V storage at 50 A current

A 50 A battery interface handles rapid storage charging and discharging. High-voltage architecture achieves 98.0 percent peak efficiency.

Fits commercial walls in an IP66 chassis

The 54 kg enclosure measures 520 x 660 x 220 mm with IP66 ingress protection. Built-in WiFi, 4G, RS485, and CAN simplify plant integration.

Technical data

The high-power hybrid bridge between large residential estates and commercial workshops.

30 A string current built to harvest 600W+ high-power bifacial modules.

Transitioning onto GoodWe's heavy-duty commercial platform, the GW15K-ET eliminates current bottlenecks when pairing with modern large-wafer solar panels. It upgrades MPPT inputs to 30 A (Isc 38 A) and doubles battery throughput to 50 A across a wide 200–800 V window, delivering 15 kW of continuous hybrid throughput backed by intelligent forced-air cooling.

Large Estates & Multi-Family Properties (18–25 kWp PV) Using High-Power Panels

Large Estates & Multi-Family Properties (18–25 kWp PV) Using High-Power Panels

Large residential properties with multi-pitch roofs utilizing modern 550W+ large-wafer solar modules.

High-power modules exceed the 12.5 A limit of standard residential inverters. The GW15K-ET’s 30 A per MPPT allows parallel stringing without clipping, while 50 A battery charging cuts recharge times for 20+ kWh battery banks in half.

  • BoundaryIf total array capacity is under 15 kWp, panels are standard 400W–450W (Imp < 12 A), and the unit must be installed in an indoor area where fan noise is unacceptable (the 10K is 100% fanless and silent).

Product questions

How does the GW15K-ET differ fundamentally from the residential GW10K-ET?

Commercial-grade 30 A MPPTs, 50 A battery throughput, and smart fan cooling. The GW15K-ET upgrades maximum MPPT input current from 12.5 A to 30 A (accepting 4 DC strings instead of 2), doubles maximum battery charge/discharge current from 25 A to 50 A (allowing 15 kW DC battery charging instead of 10 kW), and transitions to intelligent forced-air cooling to manage the higher 15 kW continuous thermal dissipation.

Why is the 30 A MPPT rating critical when using modern 550W+ solar panels?

Prevents DC current clipping on high-amperage bifacial modules. Modern 182 mm and 210 mm bifacial panels produce operating currents ($I_{\text{mp}}$) of 13 A to 17 A+, with short-circuit currents ($I_{\text{sc}}$) reaching 18 A to 20 A+. Older residential inverters with 12.5 A inputs cap the DC current, clipping peak generation during bright midday hours. The GW15K-ET’s 30 A / 38 A Isc rating allows parallel connection of two high-current strings per MPPT without clipping.

How does the 100% phase-unbalanced capability work in a multi-family or workshop setting?

Shifts power dynamically to single-phase loads to eliminate grid purchases. If an agricultural workshop draws 6 kW on Phase L1 (e.g., heavy single-phase air compressor) and only 1 kW each on L2 and L3, a standard grid-tied inverter exports power evenly (~2.6 kW per line), forcing the facility to buy 3.4 kW of expensive peak electricity from the grid for L1. The GW15K-ET dynamically shifts internal power to deliver 6 kW directly on L1, keeping net grid electricity import at zero.

What battery systems can take full advantage of the 50 A battery charge rate?

Battery stacks rated for 50 A continuous C-rates (e.g., SAJ B2-HV5 or Pylontech Force-H3). To utilize the full 50 A charging current (up to 15 kW DC power), pair the inverter with high-capacity battery stacks that support 50 A continuous rates. When paired with GoodWe Lynx Home F (rated at 25 A), the inverter will automatically limit current to 25 A (approx. 7.5 kW to 10 kW depending on stack voltage).

Can this model be installed indoors in residential living quarters?
Not recommended for living areas due to active cooling fan noise ( 45 dB).** Because the GW15K-ET utilizes intelligent forced-air cooling fans to dissipate heat from its 15 kW power stage, fan noise is noticeable during full-power midday charging and discharging (< 45 dB). For residential projects, mount the unit in a dedicated basement mechanical room, garage, or on an exterior sheltered wall.
