Description

Direct high-voltage inverter pairing without multi-cabinet sprawl.

GoodWe Lynx Home F 6.55 kWh is the compact entry-level high-voltage battery tower combining a master PCU base and two LFP modules to deliver 204.8 V storage in an ultra-lean 0.23 m² floor footprint.

GoodWe Lynx Home F 6.55 kWh (PCU base + 2 x LX F3.3-H)
  • 204.8 V High-Voltage Starting Bus

Meets the 180 V DC floor of 3-phase hybrid inverters with just 2 modules, minimizing step-up losses.

  • Compact Single-Column Footprint (0.23 m²)

Requires less than 600 × 380 mm of floor area, fitting easily into tight basement corners.

  • Pre-Paired Complete Tower Kit

Bundles master PCU controller, ground pedestal, and two 3.27 kWh LFP bricks for instant commissioning.

  • Future-Proof Expansion Up to 5 Modules

Add up to 3 additional LX F3.3-H bricks on top of this exact tower later without replacing the base.

More product details

Low-voltage 48 V batteries suffer high $I^2R$ resistive cable losses when delivering high power. The Lynx Home F 6.55 kWh operates at 204.8 V nominal, providing high round-trip storage efficiency while keeping current draw at an ultra-low 25 A.

  • Reaches the 180 V DC starting threshold of three-phase hybrid inverters with only two stacked modules.
  • Internal busbar mating passes high-voltage power and communication directly through module guide pins.
  • Cell-level temperature and voltage diagnostics monitored in real time by the integrated master BMS.

Low-profile 62 cm column with multi-year expansion headroom.

Low-profile 62 cm column with multi-year expansion headroom.

Designed for space-constrained residential installations, this 2-module tower stands just 625 mm tall on its moisture-isolated base pedestal, leaving vertical headroom to add up to 3 additional modules later. Heavy-duty floor pedestal isolates power modules from ground moisture and standing cellar condensation. Expandable up to 5 modules (16.38 kWh) by simply stacking additional LX F3.3-H bricks on top. IP55 weatherproof enclosure certified for unheated utility rooms, garages, and sheltered outdoor alcoves.

The shortest build in the family.

625 mm assembled on the grounded floor base - low enough to sit under a window or beside the inverter without a plan for it. IP55 sealing means the spot does not have to be a heated room, and discharge keeps running down to -20 C.

115 kg, delivered as separate packages.

Base, PCU and both modules come to site as their own packages and the tower is built where it stands, so the heaviest single lift is one module. Finished, the weight rests on the base at floor level: LFP cells, certified to IEC 62619 and IEC 62040 for daily cycling.

The inverter sees one battery, not two modules.

The PCU's master BMS reports the whole tower over CAN as a single 204.8 V battery system. Commissioning, diagnosis and firmware updates all run through the hybrid, and a module added later does not change how the pairing was set up.

Technical data

The ideal entry-level storage tower for standard single-family homes with 5–7 kWp solar.

Compact 204.8 V high-voltage storage sized for essential residential backup.

Combining a master PCU base with two LX F3.3-H battery modules, this 6.55 kWh tower provides an entry-level high-voltage DC bus (204.8 V nominal) tailored for standard European single-family residences. Its small 600 × 380 mm footprint fits narrow utility rooms, with full headroom to expand up to 16.38 kWh as household energy consumption grows.

Small Single-Family Homes with 5–7 kWp Solar & Modest Night Demand

Small Single-Family Homes with 5–7 kWp Solar & Modest Night Demand

Homes with 2–3 occupants consuming 250–400 W baseline power overnight (lighting, Wi-Fi, refrigeration, TV).

5.9 kWh usable capacity buffers typical evening consumption with 10–20% emergency reserve remaining for morning coffee and breakfast routines, avoiding paying for unneeded battery capacity.

  • BoundaryIf the household operates an air-to-water heat pump or an electric vehicle, a 6.55 kWh tower will deplete early in the evening. Step up to the 9.83 kWh (3-module) or 13.10 kWh (4-module) tower.

Product questions

Is 6.55 kWh of storage enough to run a heat pump overnight?

No. Sized for domestic baseline loads, not continuous winter heating. A typical domestic heat pump draws 1.2 kW to 2.0 kW of electrical power continuously in winter. At a 1.5 kW draw, a 6.55 kWh tower (5.9 kWh usable) will be completely drained in under 4 hours. If your home uses heat pump heating, we recommend stepping up to the Lynx Home F 13.10 kWh (4 modules) or 16.38 kWh (5 modules) tower.

Can I add a third module to this exact tower 2 or 3 years after installation?

Yes. Simply purchase one LX F3.3-H expansion module and stack it on top. The master PCU base and structural pedestal included with this kit support up to 5 modules total. To expand, turn off the DC isolator, place the new LX F3.3-H brick on top of the stack, re-secure the side locking brackets, and power on. The PCU automatically updates system capacity to 9.83 kWh.

What is the total assembled weight and floor load requirement?

115.0 kg total; standard residential concrete floors are fully suitable. The complete 2-module tower weighs 115 kg (approx. 253 lbs): * PCU Base + Top Cover: ~29 kg * 2 x LX F3.3-H Modules: 86 kg (43 kg each) * Floor Footprint: 600 × 380 mm (0.23 m²), generating a low, distributed floor load suitable for all domestic concrete and screed floors.
