Precision modular interlocking with multi-tier cell protection.

Precision modular interlocking with multi-tier cell protection.

Stacking three LX F3.3-H modules onto the PCU base requires zero external wiring tools. Power and CAN signals mate automatically through heavy-duty internal terminals. Self-aligning guide pins pass high-voltage power internally, eliminating exposed DC cables on utility walls. Automated master BMS diagnostics monitor individual cell temperatures and string insulation resistance in real time. IP55 weatherproof enclosure ensures complete reliability in unheated garages, cellars, and covered outdoor spaces.

Two module positions still open

A fourth and a fifth LX F3.3-H land on this PCU without a new base: 13.10 kWh, then 16.38. Each module self-detects as it seats, and the master BMS takes it into the same battery.

Fills as fast as it empties

25 A in both directions gives 7.68 kW nominal charge and 7.68 kW nominal discharge at 307.2 V. A strong PV midday puts back what the evening took, without the battery ever being the slow part of the day.

One battery on the CAN line, whatever the module count

The PCU's master BMS reports the tower to the GoodWe hybrid as a single 307.2 V battery system, and that does not change when a fourth module arrives. The inverter goes on managing one battery, with diagnosis and updates running through it.

Technical data

The benchmark residential capacity tier for 8–10 kWp solar installations.

307.2 V operating sweet-spot designed for whole-evening domestic self-consumption.

With three stacked LFP modules delivering 9.83 kWh of nominal storage, this tower operates across a 273.6–345.6 V working window. This places European three-phase hybrid inverters (such as GoodWe ET 5–10 kW) directly in their peak DC-DC efficiency zone, capturing daytime solar overproduction to power cooking, lighting, and entertainment circuits through the night with zero grid draw.

Product questions

Why is the 3-module (9.83 kWh) tower considered the "sweet spot" for 3-phase hybrid inverters?

Operates at ~300 V, perfectly matching inverter DC-DC efficiency curves. Most European three-phase hybrid inverters (including GoodWe ET 5–10 kW) achieve their highest round-trip conversion efficiency when battery DC bus voltage is between 280 V and 400 V. A 2-module tower (204.8 V) operates near the lower threshold, requiring higher internal step-up boosting. The 3-module tower operates at 307.2 V nominal (273.6–345.6 V working range), reducing internal heat and extracting maximum usable energy per cycle.

Can I add a fourth module later if our family purchases an electric vehicle?

Yes. Stacks up to 5 modules (16.38 kWh) on the same base. The PCU base included in this kit supports up to 5 modules. You can purchase a single LX F3.3-H brick at any future point, place it on top of the 3-module column, and re-fasten the side brackets. The system will auto-calibrate to 13.10 kWh without replacing hardware.

What is the total height and weight of the assembled 3-module tower?

820 mm height (approx. 32 inches); 158.0 kg total weight. * Total Height: 820 mm (600 mm wide × 380 mm deep). * Total Weight: 158 kg (approx. 348 lbs), distributed evenly across the heavy-duty leveling base pedestal.
