The system dynamically shifts generation onto the loaded phase while four independent DC-DC converters distribute thermal stress evenly. What components are included in this complete package?
1x GW20K-ET hybrid inverter + 4x LX D5.0-10 battery modules (20 kWh). The package includes the GoodWe GW20K-ET 20 kW three-phase hybrid inverter and four decentralized GoodWe LX D5.0-10 battery packs (20.0 kWh nominal / 19.0 kWh usable), complete with interconnecting communication leads and mounting brackets. (External smart meter GM330 and CTs are selected based on service current rating).
Can this 20 kWh battery bank be charged from empty to full in one hour?
Yes, when solar generation reaches 20 kW+ during midday. Because the GW20K-ET features a 50 A high-voltage battery port operating across 320–480 V DC, it delivers up to 20 kW continuous DC charging power. On a sunny day with a 25–30 kWp solar array, the 20 kWh battery bank can be charged from 10% to 100% SoC in approximately 1 hour of clear sunshine.
Can we expand this package to 25 kWh or 30 kWh in the future?
Yes. Simply purchase additional LX D5.0-10 modules. Because each LX D5.0-10 module features an internal DC-DC converter, you can add a fifth or sixth 5 kWh pack 2 to 3 years later without experiencing capacity mismatch from battery aging.
