Rather than stringing cells in a single rigid series stack, the Lynx D 10 kWh system runs two active DC-DC power stages in parallel. Each module regulates its own 320–480 V output, sharing the household current draw equally.
- Two independent power stages divide the charge/discharge current, reducing thermal stress on individual cells.
- Eliminates stack-level failure. If one module is disconnected for service, the second module continues supplying power.
- Direct CAN communication links both modules synchronously to the GoodWe hybrid inverter.

Can I add a third LX D5.0-10 module to this 10 kWh system in 2 years?
Yes, with zero capacity penalty. Unlike traditional series batteries where adding a new module after 2 years results in the new module being throttled by the degraded older modules, Lynx D’s internal DC-DC converters manage each pack independently. You can add a third module in 2 or 3 years and extract its full 5.0 kWh capacity.
