Dual independent 12.5 A MPPT channels track separate roof pitches efficiently down to 180 V start-up. Automated solar black-start boots directly from DC panel voltage during extended winter blackouts. IP66 weatherproof cast-aluminum casing allows clean indoor utility mounting or outdoor sheltered installation (-35 to +60 °C).

Can the GW10K-ET power three-phase induction cooktops and domestic heat pumps during a blackout?

Yes. Supplies 10,000 VA continuous and 16,500 VA peak surge. The GW10K-ET provides full 10,000 VA continuous three-phase power across L1, L2, and L3 on its dedicated backup port (approx. 14.5 A nominal current per line, with a peak apparent power surge rating of 16,500 VA for 60 seconds). This surge capacity effortlessly rides through the initial inrush currents of heat pump compressors and kitchen appliances without tripping.

What is the difference between wiring the whole house to the backup port vs using a critical-loads sub-panel?

Check main service current limits (22.7 A internal pass-through ceiling). Because the inverter's maximum AC grid pass-through current is 22.7 A (approx. 15.7 kVA total), connecting the entire house through the inverter's internal backup switch means total household power draw (when grid-connected) must not exceed 22.7 A per phase. For large luxury residences where total connected domestic load can exceed 25 A per phase (e.g., simultaneous sauna, fast EV charging, and oven use), installing a dedicated backup sub-panel for essential/heating circuits. Or using an external automatic transfer switch (ATS). Is standard engineering practice.

What happens if the battery is fully drained during an extended winter power outage?

What is the maximum battery storage capacity that can be connected to this model?

Up to 16.38 kWh in a single tower; over 49 kWh with parallel towers. A single GoodWe Lynx Home F tower supports up to 5 modules (16.38 kWh / 512 V). By adding a second or third tower in parallel using an external combiner box, you can scale storage up to 32.7 kWh or 49.1 kWh while maintaining full 25 A charge and discharge speeds.

Can the GW10K-ET be installed outdoors in direct rain and snow?

Yes, IP66 rated, but avoid direct midday sun exposure. The unit carries an IP66 ingress protection rating, making it completely dust-tight and sealed against high-pressure water jets. However, installing it under an eave or protective shelter to avoid direct solar irradiance is recommended to prevent thermal derating during hot summer middays.
