2. What we process and why
- Partner account data: email, company name, partner role, VAT ID or company registration number, phone, and optional business documents (PDF). Used to review B2B access and operate your account (contract performance).
- Order and billing data: products, quantities, prices, billing and shipping addresses, order documents (proforma, invoice). Used to fulfil orders and meet statutory bookkeeping duties.
- VAT declaration evidence: if you request the German 0% VAT rate for photovoltaic systems (§ 12 Abs. 3 UStG) at checkout, we record the declaration text version, timestamp, your VAT ID, IP address, and browser user agent as statutory tax-audit evidence (legal obligation).
- VIES validation: VAT IDs you provide are checked against the European Commission’s VIES service; the check result and, where available, the official consultation number are stored as evidence.
- Server logs: our hosting provider processes IP addresses and technical request data to deliver and secure the site (legitimate interest).
- Contact messages: name, contact details, and message content when you contact us (pre-contractual communication).
3. Cookies
This shop uses only technically necessary cookies (session, cart, and login cookies). We currently use no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
4. Recipients and transfers
Data is stored with our EU-based hosting provider. Account and order data may be accessed by authorised personnel and service providers where necessary for order processing and account service. VAT IDs are transmitted to the EU VIES service for validation. We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention
Account data is kept for the life of the account. Order, invoice, and VAT-declaration records are kept for the statutory retention periods applicable to tax and commercial records (up to 10 years), then deleted.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest, and you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact: linker01@de-linker.com.
