2. What we process and why

| Genie | When you ask Genie a question, your message, the earlier messages of that conversation, and the product records used to answer it are processed automatically to produce the reply. If you attach a photograph, it is read to identify the equipment visible in it. Conversations of signed-in customers are saved to the account so they can be reopened. If you are not signed in, the conversation is stored on our servers and linked to your browser, so it can be reopened on that device; it is deleted after 90 days. If you send an inquiry after a conversation, the inquiry can carry a summary of that conversation, generated by an AI model, so our team sees what you already told us. The summary contains what you wrote in the conversation and the products Genie showed, and no prices. It is stored with the inquiry and deleted with it; our AI provider processes the conversation text to generate the summary and does not receive your name, email address or account details. | pre-contractual communication |

3. Cookies
Essential cookies keep your solution draft, sign-in and cookie choices working. They are always active. Optional cookies are used only after you consent to the relevant purpose.
Website analytics: Google Analytics measures page views and interactions. Its _ga and _ga_* cookies recognise a browser and its sessions and can remain for up to 400 days; a new visit can renew this period. Event-level data in Google Analytics is retained for 14 months.
Visit source: WooCommerce uses sbjs_* cookies to record the source of your visit, including campaign parameters. Source cookies last for the browser session; sbjs_session expires after 30 minutes without activity. This choice does not enable Google advertising.
We use these optional cookies on the basis of your consent. You can change or withdraw consent at any time through in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew. Your cookie choices are stored for up to one year.
4. Recipients and transfers
If you consent to website analytics, Google Ireland Limited receives usage data, including pages viewed, interactions, browser and device information. Google may process this data outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. We do not enable Google Signals or Google advertising features. See Google’s privacy information. Rejecting analytics prevents the Google measurement tag from loading.
Data is stored with our EU-based hosting provider. Account and order data may be accessed by authorised personnel and service providers where necessary for order processing and account service. We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention
Account data is kept for the life of the account. Order, invoice, and VAT-declaration records are kept for the statutory retention periods applicable to tax and commercial records (up to 10 years), then deleted.
Conversations with Genie belonging to a signed-in account are kept until you delete them or newer conversations displace them; you can delete any conversation from your Genie history. A photograph you attach is held on our server only for the analysis and is removed by a scheduled daily clean-up; the copy sent out for reading is deleted as soon as the reply arrives.
