Description
Comprehensive cell-level monitoring with integrated DC isolation.
GoodWe Lynx Home F PCU Base is the high-voltage master BMS controller and floor pedestal that manages cell balancing, automated commissioning, and safety isolation for 2 to 5 stacked Lynx Home F modules.
Integrated Master BMS Intelligence
Continuously monitors individual cell voltages, temperatures, and insulation across 2 to 5 stacked modules (up to 576 V).
Automated Module Recognition
Auto-detects the number of attached battery bricks upon startup, eliminating manual dip-switch configuration.
Stable Ground-Mounted Foundation
Heavy-duty floor pedestal with IP55 sealing safely anchors stacks weighing up to 244 kg against domestic walls.
Direct Hybrid Inverter Communication
Native high-speed CAN link communicates seamlessly with GoodWe ET and BT hybrid inverters.
More product details
The PCU base centralizes high-voltage system protection, actively communicating with sub-BMS units inside each LX F3.3-H module to balance cell states and execute sub-second fault isolation.
- Real-time monitoring of cell voltages, string temperatures, and ground insulation resistance.
- Integrated motorized DC circuit breaker automatically isolates the stack during overcurrent, short circuit, or thermal faults.
- Direct CAN/RS485 protocol handshake provides real-time state-of-charge (SoC) telemetry to GoodWe hybrid inverters.

Rugged floor-mounted pedestal with internal busbar mating.
Designed as the structural baseplate of the vertical battery column, the PCU provides precision leveling feet and self-aligning internal high-voltage contacts. Internal push-in busbar terminals pass high-voltage power and communication directly to the first battery brick without external cables. Engineered floor-level stand isolates battery modules from concrete floor moisture and standing condensation. Supports vertical stacking of up to 5 modules (over 240 kg) with integrated wall-anchoring brackets.
It holds the tower up and keeps it in order
The base takes the weight of two to five modules at floor level, so nothing loads the wall, while the master BMS balances and supervises the stack standing on it.
What reaches the inverter is a battery, not a parts list
Module-level detail stays inside the PCU. What leaves it on the CAN line is a single battery system - which is why commissioning and later firmware work do not change when the module count does.
Eight towers, eight bases
GoodWe's Lynx F manual documents up to eight towers in parallel, each standing on its own PCU base. A site grows by repeating a known unit rather than by redesigning one.
Technical data
Centralizing high-voltage safety, cell diagnostics, and plug-and-play stacking in a single base.
The intelligent master controller and structural foundation for Lynx Home F.
Acting as the central brain and mechanical anchor of the Lynx Home F series, the PCU base houses the primary battery management processor, motorized DC breaker switchgear, and inverter communication bridge. It supports granular capacity expansion from 6.55 kWh to 16.38 kWh, managing high-voltage safety without requiring external DC disconnect boxes.

GoodWe Lynx Home F Series (HV) Datasheet (EMEA, EN)Product questions
Can a single PCU base control more than 5 battery modules?
No. Maximum 5 modules (16.38 kWh) per single tower. The PCU's internal master BMS firmware and DC voltage ceiling (600 V DC) are engineered to support a maximum of 5 modules in series (16.38 kWh / 512 V nominal). To expand capacity beyond 16.38 kWh, you must install a second complete tower (including its own PCU base) and connect the two towers in parallel using an external high-voltage combiner box.
Does the PCU base include the bottom floor pedestal in the box?
Yes. The PCU base includes the master control unit and the ground stand. The unit serves as both the electrical master controller and the bottom mechanical floor pedestal. It features adjustable leveling feet to ensure vertical stack alignment against uneven basement or garage floors.
Is any manual dip-switch addressing required when adding battery modules?
No. Automated module addressing on startup. The PCU base features plug-and-play auto-recognition. Upon powering on the system, the master controller interrogates the stack, identifies how many LX F3.3-H modules are connected (from 2 to 5), calibrates total string voltage, and establishes communication with the hybrid inverter automatically.
