Installation & wiring 2
The GW125K-STS-G10 static transfer switch, and only when the backup or generator ports are used. On-grid operation does not require it.
- Exact pairing: GoodWe's own product data names the ET 80 / 99.99 / 100 kW trio as the GW125K-STS-G10's paired inverters.
- Not interchangeable: the STS200-80-10 is a physically different box for the ET50 series and does not substitute here.
- Switching: on / off-grid transfer under 10 ms with the STS box, which also provides diesel generator control.

- AC voltages: 220 / 380, 230 / 400 or 240 / 415 V three-phase (3L / N / PE) at 50 / 60 Hz.
- Cable sizing at 400 V: maximum grid current 127.1 A (80 kW), 144.4 A (99.99 kW) or 158.8 A (100 kW), per GoodWe's datasheet.
- Metering: the GoodWe GM3000 three-phase meter is the required export-control meter on this tier.
- Noise: below 60 dB with smart fan cooling.
Operation & warranty 1
Between 950 V and 1000 V the inverter enters standby and resumes normal operation when the voltage returns to 950 V. Keep cold-condition string voltage inside the 160 to 950 V MPPT window when designing strings.
- Absolute limit: maximum input voltage is 1000 V.
- Protections: DC switch, anti-islanding and remote shutdown are integrated; DC surge protection Type II (Type I + II optional), AC surge protection Type II, AFCI and rapid shutdown optional.
