Configuration 2

Commercial and industrial PV and storage plants. SAJ recommends the C1 Pro for CHS2 installations running 2 to 10 units in parallel.

  • Role: a smart communication box, the EMS controller with optional switch and meters.
  • Fleet size: 2 to 10 parallel CHS2 cabinets per controller, per SAJ's recommendation.
  • Data interval: 1 to 30 minutes selectable, with 5 minutes as the standard setting.

The eManager-C1 EMS controller is the standard content. The Ethernet switch and the smart meters are optional line items, so state them explicitly on the order.

  • Standard: the eManager-C1 EMS controller.
  • Optional: the Ethernet switch and the smart meters.
  • Enclosure: PC box, 300 x 400 x 170 mm, 7.5 kg, IP65, wall-mounted.
  • Ordering note: name the optional switch and meters on the quote so the site kit arrives complete.

Installation & wiring 1

It accepts 9 to 36 Vdc or 176 to 300 Vac supply and draws 50 W maximum.

  • Communication: Bluetooth, 4G, Ethernet and RS485.
  • No SIM required: 4G is one of four channels; Ethernet, RS485 and Bluetooth run without a cellular contract.
  • Mounting: wall-mounted, IP65 enclosure.
  • Environment: -25 to 60 C operating range, 5 to 95% non-condensing humidity.

Operation & warranty 1

SAJ lists export limitation, demand control, peak shaving, self-use, backup power and battery limit protection as controller functions.

  • Access: Web, App or local web, so the plant is reachable both remotely and on site.
  • Data logging: collection interval selectable from 1 to 30 minutes, 5 minutes standard.
  • Firmware: updates over Ethernet, USB or remote.

Availability & compliance 1

SAJ has not published a datasheet for the eManager-Promate as of 2026-07-10. Rather than print numbers we cannot source from the manufacturer, the page carries none.

  • What it is: an expansion module for the SAJ eManager energy management system.
  • How to order: ask for the current ordering data with your quote; specifications will be added once SAJ publishes them.
  • Certificates: no certificate data is published for it either, so confirm the certificate set with the quote.
