SAJ's storage systems ship with elekeeper-based energy management on board; the eManager is the optional hardware layer for whole-home control beyond the inverter — above all intelligent heat-pump linkage, plus generation metering with its integrated CT-equipped meter and deeper scheduling of household loads. A basic PV+storage install does not require it; specify it when the project includes a heat pump or serious load-management ambitions.
SAJ positions the eManager within its residential smart-accessories line for its inverter and storage ecosystem, and on the 2026 EK90 HS5 the eManager 5.0 / elekeeper 5.0 pairing is named on the datasheet itself as the layer connecting PV, storage, EV charger, smart plug and heat pump. For a specific legacy SAJ system (H2, HS2, HS3, AS-series), confirm the supported combination at quote — SAJ documents the pairings per generation.
SAJ promotes a removable interface and built-in CT for easy installation, with 5 GHz + 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on the connectivity side. The integrated meter means generation metering does not require a separate meter unit at that measuring point.
