Designed to mount cleanly beside or between battery towers, the junction box maintains the aesthetic elegance of the PowerOcean product line. Matches the 680 mm width and depth of PowerOcean battery packs for aligned wall placement. Built-in DC disconnect switches allow isolating individual towers for maintenance. IP65 rated enclosure certified for unheated basements, technical utility rooms, and sheltered outdoor alcoves (-25 to +60 °C).

Capacity still comes from the packs. 1 / 2 / 3 packs stay 5.1 / 10.2 / 15.3 kWh nominal with this box fitted.

Keeps the 680 mm footprint

Width and depth stay 680 x 183 mm. Height is the number that moves. IP65, minus 20 to 50 C.

Sits on the EF BD-B-S1

The junction does not replace the base. Three-phase BOM is packs plus base plus this box.

Can the EF BD-JC-S1 be used with single-phase PowerOcean inverters (HD-P1)?

No. Exclusively engineered for HD-P3 three-phase inverters. The junction box and its multi-tower communication protocols are supported exclusively on EcoFlow HD-P3 three-phase hybrid inverters (6 kW to 12 kW). Single-phase HD-P1 inverters support a single column (up to 15.3 kWh).
