EcoFlow EF HD-P3-6K0-S1
EcoFlow PowerOcean EF HD-P3-6K0-S1 is a three-phase residential hybrid inverter rated 6000 VA with two MPP trackers and up to 10000 W of PV input.
- 3 kW to 6 kW single-phase (EF HD-P1) and 6 kW to 12 kW three-phase (EF HD-P3) inverters cover residential through small-commercial loads on the same PowerOcean platform.
- Battery capacity builds in 5.1 kWh EF BD-5.1-S1 packs: up to 15.3 kWh on a single HD-P1 inverter (cascadable to about 45 kWh across three HD-P1 units), or up to 45.9 kWh directly on a single HD-P3 three-phase inverter.
- IP65-rated inverters and battery stacks are specified for -20 to 50 degrees C, so they can sit outdoors or in an unheated plant room.
- Built-in RS485, CAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G give direct EcoFlow app monitoring without extra gateway hardware.

Configuration 3
The three-phase range covers 6, 8, 10 and 12 kVA nominal output at 230/400 V, with PV capacity scaling in step.
- PV ceiling: 10000 W (6K0) up to 16000 W (12K) maximum PV power over two MPPTs.
- Per tracker: 5000 to 8000 W maximum per MPPT by model, one string per MPPT, 16 A maximum input current.
- String window: 200 to 850 V MPPT operating range, 1000 V maximum input voltage, 160 V start-up.
- Efficiency: EcoFlow states 97.6 percent maximum efficiency and 99.9 percent maximum MPPT efficiency.
EcoFlow's datasheet rates each HD-P3 for up to 45.9 kWh of battery on one inverter, built as 9 x 5.1 kWh EF BD-5.1-S1 packs.
- Junction pack: EcoFlow's stack table lists one EF BD-JC-S1 in every three-phase configuration, alongside one EF BD-B-S1 base.
- Charge and discharge: battery power matches the inverter class, 6000 to 12000 W.
- Currents: 12.5 A maximum continuous charge and discharge (15 A on the 12K).
- Bus voltage: 800 V rated battery voltage.
The HD-P3 provides partial backup at the model's nominal apparent power, with a 1 s surge margin above it.
- Nominal: 6000 to 12000 VA backup by model on three-phase 230/400 V, 3L+N+PE.
- Surge: 20 percent above nominal for 1 s, from 7200 VA on the 6K0 to 14400 VA on the 12K per the datasheet.
- Grid-side draw: up to 12000 VA (6K0) or 16000 VA (8K0 to 12K) apparent power from the grid at 17.4 A or 23.1 A maximum.
- Circuit planning: it is a partial-backup topology per EcoFlow's documentation, so decide which circuits sit behind the backup output.
Availability & compliance 1
EcoFlow lists VDE-AR-N 4105 for Germany along with a wide European set on the three-phase datasheet.
- Listed codes: EN 50549, EN 50438, G98/G99, CEI 0-21, C10/11, TOR Erzeuger Type A, EEA-NE7-CH, UTE C15-712-1, PTPiREE, ANRE and O3E-323.
- Reactive power: power factor is adjustable from -0.8 through 1 to +0.8 per the datasheet.
- Per-order check: certificates are issued per model and market, so confirm the exact certificate set for your model and network operator with the quote.
Installation & wiring 1
Yes. The unit is IP65 and specified for -20 to 50 C, with natural convection cooling and no fan.
- Noise: below 35 dB noise emission per the datasheet.
- Envelope: 588 x 175 x 380 mm without the trim cover, 588 x 175 x 455 mm with it, at approximately 29.6 kg.
- One enclosure: all four ratings share the same housing and weight, so wall planning does not change between models.
Operation & warranty 1
Standby draw is low and monitoring runs through the EcoFlow app without extra gateway hardware.
- Night self-consumption: below 25 W per the datasheet.
- Interfaces: RS485 to the grid meter, CAN to the battery BMS, plus Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, WAN and 4G on board.
- Power quality: current total harmonic distortion below 3 percent at rated power; power factor adjustable from -0.8 through 1 to +0.8.
