
EcoFlow EF BD-B-S1
EcoFlow PowerOcean EF BD-B-S1 is the battery base of the PowerOcean residential stack.
- 3 kW to 6 kW single-phase (EF HD-P1) and 6 kW to 12 kW three-phase (EF HD-P3) inverters cover residential through small-commercial loads on the same PowerOcean platform.
- Battery capacity builds in 5.1 kWh EF BD-5.1-S1 packs: up to 15.3 kWh on a single HD-P1 inverter (cascadable to about 45 kWh across three HD-P1 units), or up to 45.9 kWh directly on a single HD-P3 three-phase inverter.
- IP65-rated inverters and battery stacks are specified for -20 to 50 degrees C, so they can sit outdoors or in an unheated plant room.
- Built-in RS485, CAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G give direct EcoFlow app monitoring without extra gateway hardware.

Configuration 2
One per stack, whatever the pack count.
- Stack table: EcoFlow lists EF BD-B-S1 x 1 in every single-phase configuration: 1, 2 or 3 EF BD-5.1-S1 packs give 5.1, 10.2 or 15.3 kWh nominal on one base.
- Multiple stacks: each additional stack needs its own base, so order bases 1:1 with stacks, not with packs.
- Three-phase systems: HD-P3 stacks use this same base and add one EF BD-JC-S1 junction box per stack.
Yes. The base count does not change with pack count, so a stack started with one pack keeps its base when packs two and three are added.
- Growth path: 5.1 to 10.2 to 15.3 kWh nominal on the same base, in 5.1 kWh pack steps.
- Clearance: the assembled stack grows from 452 mm to 849 mm to 1245 mm high, so verify space above the stack before planning an extension.
- Beyond three packs: more capacity means a further stack, and each new stack needs its own base.
Availability & compliance 1
Ordered separately. The EF BD-5.1-S1 battery pack does not include the base; every stack needs one EF BD-B-S1 on the bill of materials.
- BOM rule: packs x 1 to 3 plus base x 1 per stack; add one EF BD-JC-S1 junction box per stack only on three-phase HD-P3 systems.
- Rating: the assembled stack carries IP65 and -20 to 50 C, so the base does not restrict siting.
- Quoting: state pack count and phase configuration with your inquiry so base and junction hardware land on the quote in the right quantities.

The base sets the stack footprint at 680 x 183 mm; height and weight grow with pack count.
- 1 pack: 680 x 183 x 452 mm, 59.2 kg.

- Siting: floor stand or wall mounting, IP65 rating and -20 to 50 C operating range; check floor loading for a full three-pack stack.
