EcoFlow PowerOcean EF HD-P1-6K-S1 is a single-phase residential hybrid inverter rated 6000 W with two MPP trackers and up to 12000 W of PV input.
- 3 kW to 6 kW single-phase (EF HD-P1) and 6 kW to 12 kW three-phase (EF HD-P3) inverters cover residential through small-commercial loads on the same PowerOcean platform.
- Battery capacity builds in 5.1 kWh EF BD-5.1-S1 packs: up to 15.3 kWh on a single HD-P1 inverter (cascadable to about 45 kWh across three HD-P1 units), or up to 45.9 kWh directly on a single HD-P3 three-phase inverter.
- IP65-rated inverters and battery stacks are specified for -20 to 50 degrees C, so they can sit outdoors or in an unheated plant room.
- Built-in RS485, CAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G give direct EcoFlow app monitoring without extra gateway hardware.

Configuration 3
The single-phase range covers 3, 3.68, 4.6, 5 and 6 kW rated output at 220/230/240 V, and PV headroom grows with the rating.
- PV ceiling: maximum PV power runs from 9000 W on the 3K-S1 up to 12000 W on the 6K-S1.
- MPPTs: two trackers on every model, 90 to 520 V MPPT range, 600 V maximum input voltage.
- String current: up to 18 A per MPPT on a single PV input, 16 A with dual PV inputs, 20 A short-circuit rating.
- AC current: rated output current spans 13.1 A (3K) to 26.1 A (6K); the 3.68K-S1 sits at 16 A.
EcoFlow rates one HD-P1 inverter for up to 15.3 kWh of battery, and up to about 45 kWh across three cascaded inverters.
- Building block: storage grows in 5.1 kWh EF BD-5.1-S1 LFP packs; 3 x 5.1 kWh = 15.3 kWh per inverter.
- Stack base: EcoFlow's stack table lists one EF BD-B-S1 base unit in every single-phase configuration.
- Battery bus: 790 V rated, 800 V maximum battery voltage; 7.6 A rated battery current (8.4 A maximum on the 6K).

- Power quality: total harmonic distortion at rated power is 5 percent or less on the 3K and 3.68K and 3 percent or less on the 4.6K, 5K and 6K.

Yes. Every HD-P1 rating is IP65 and specified for -20 to 50 C, so an outside wall or an unheated plant room both work.
- Envelope: 679.6 x 182.7 x 280 mm without the IoT and Wi-Fi module, 21.5 kg, identical across all five ratings.
- Acoustics: natural convection cooling with 40 dB noise emission, so no fan noise near living areas.
- Derating: the datasheet notes derating above 40 C and below 0 C, so allow shading and airflow in hot locations.
- AC side: single-phase 220/230/240 V connection, L+N+PE.
Operation & warranty 1
Communication is built in; the system reports to the EcoFlow app without extra gateway hardware.
