Description
SAJ BU3-5.0-TV2-PRO is the LiFePO4 battery module of the HS3 all-in-one storage system, with 5.0 kWh rated energy and 4.8 kWh usable energy at 450 V nominal voltage. It has an integrated DC/DC optimiser and battery management system and is stacked under the HS3 inverter, one to eight modules per inverter.

The operating temperature range is -30 °C to +50 °C and the ingress protection IP65. A battery heating function can be set in the app; in the default mode heating starts below 5 °C and stops at 15 °C.

Each module holds LiFePO4 cells, a pack-level DC/DC optimiser and a battery management system. The nominal voltage is 450 V, the operating voltage 380–500 V and the maximum charging and discharging current 7.9 A per module. The module communicates over CAN.
