What breaker size and wiring cross-section are required for the 22 kW charger?

3-pole 40 A industrial MCB/MCCB; 5 × 6 mm² to 5 × 10 mm² copper cable. For continuous 32 A three-phase operation, install a 3-pole 40 A circuit breaker (Type B or C) paired with 5 × 6 mm² copper conductors (or 5 × 10 mm² for cable runs over 25 meters).

Can this 22 kW charger be throttled to 11 kW if required by the utility?

Yes. Max current can be configured in software from 6 A up to 32 A. Through the GoodWe SolarGo app or installer configuration portal, the maximum charging current can be adjusted in 1 A increments, allowing installers to commission the charger at 16 A (11 kW) initially and unlock full 32 A (22 kW) later if the service is upgraded.
