Choose by service current and voltage window.

  • GMK330: ships with three 120 A : 40 mA CTs, 90 to 264 V window, Class 0.5; the standard pick for a residential GoodWe hybrid.
  • GM330: no CTs supplied; takes external nA:5A transformers you size to the service, 100 to 472 V window, Class 0.5; the pick above 120 A per phase or outside the GMK330 voltage window.
  • GM3000: three fixed 120 A CTs that cannot be replaced, Class 1; per GoodWe's manual each phase must stay below 120 A.

Per GoodWe's compatibility list the meters cover the ET, BT, ETC and BTC storage families and more; one firmware condition applies.

  • GM330: ET and ET PLUS+ (5-10 kW), BT (5-10 kW), ET 15-30 kW / ETT, ET 25-50 kW / ETF, ET G2, ETC and BTC, ET LV, ESA and ES families, among others.
  • Firmware: on the ET and BT 5-10 kW families GoodWe requires inverter ARM 31 or above for the GM330.
  • GM3000: also covers EH, EH PLUS, BH, EHB and ES G2 storage plus SDT G2/G3, MT, MT G2 and HT string inverters.
  • Check: confirm your exact model against the compatibility list on the product page before ordering.

Installation & wiring 1

All three are DIN-rail devices with an RS485 link to the inverter.

  • Bus: RS485 up to 1000 m on every model.
  • Width: GM330 and GMK330 take 4 modules (72 mm); the GM3000 takes 2 modules (36 mm).
  • Grid types: GM330 and GMK330 support 1P2W, 3P3W and 3P4W; the GM3000 is a three-phase 230/400 V meter.
  • Environment: IP20 across the family; -30 to +70 C on GM330 and GMK330, -25 to +60 C on the GM3000; consumption below 5 W on GM330 and GMK330 and below 3 W on the GM3000.

Operation & warranty 1

They measure import and export at the grid connection point and report to the inverter over RS485, which is what export limiting and self-consumption control run on.

  • Accuracy: Class 0.5 voltage, current and active energy on GM330 and GMK330; Class 1 active energy on the GM3000.
  • Controller integration: the GM3000 is the meter GoodWe builds into its SEC1000S smart energy controller per the SEC datasheet.
  • Diagnostics: LED status indication and a reset button on every model.

Availability & compliance 1

CT supply differs per model, and the GMK330 has a regional split worth checking.

  • GM330: no CTs; external nA:5A transformers where n is between 200 and 5000 per GoodWe.
  • GMK330: three 120 A : 40 mA CTs supplied; GoodWe also lists a 200 A : 50 mA build that its ET manual marks Brazil only. The European listing is the 120 A : 40 mA unit.
  • GM3000: three CTs supplied; they cannot be replaced.
  • Billing: GoodWe specifies these meters by accuracy class; if you need billing-grade certification, confirm the certificate set with the quote.

Choose the GMK330 for residential, the GM330 for larger or wider-voltage services.

  • GMK330: ships with three 120 A CTs, covers 90-264 V.
  • GM330: takes external nA:5A CTs you size yourself, covers 100-472 V.
  • Take the GMK330 for a residential GoodWe hybrid; take the GM330 when the service is larger than 120 A per phase or the voltage is outside the GMK330's window.

GoodWe lists two GMK330 variants under one model name.

  • 120 A:40 mA and 200 A:50 mA.
  • GoodWe's own ET inverter manual marks the 200 A:50 mA one Brazil only, and both are still in production — it is a regional variant, not a successor.
  • The GMK330 sold in Europe is the 120 A:40 mA one, and that is what this listing is.
