GoodWe GW50K-BTC is a 50 kVA AC-coupled battery inverter: it adds storage to a plant that already has PV, without touching the PV inverters.

Selection 2

The battery inverter sits on the AC side, beside the existing PV inverters rather than between them and the array.

  • The PV plant is not touched: no re-stringing, no inverter swap, no new commissioning of the PV side.
  • That is usually the only way to add storage to a working plant without losing generation for the duration.
  • The cost is one extra conversion step, which is why the 97.2% battery-to-AC figure matters.

Both are 50 kVA nominal. The plain model is lighter and slightly lower on maximum output.

  • GW50K-BTC (this one): 124 kg, 52.5 kVA maximum to grid.
  • GW50K07-BTC: 170.5 kg, 55 kVA maximum to grid.
  • 46 kg is the difference between two people and a lift on a plant-room install. If the headroom to 55 kVA is needed, the 07 is the one.

Configuration 1

A 200 to 865 V lithium-ion bank on one battery input, over RS485 to the BMS.

  • GoodWe's own flyer footnote gives the nominal voltages against its LX C cabinets: LX C101-10 at 422.4 V, LX C120-10 at 499.2 V, LX C138-10 at 576 V and LX C156-10 at 652.8 V. de-linker sells all four.
  • 100 A continuous each way, 50 kW charging and 55 kW discharging.
  • The pairing is confirmed on the quote against the site's load profile.

Installation & wiring 1

It is a floor-standing, grounded cabinet at 585 x 1360 x 750 mm and IP20 — indoors, in a plant room.

  • Smart fan cooling, -20 to +60 °C with derating above 45 °C, 0-95% non-condensing, up to 4000 m.
  • Emergency power off and remote shutdown are integrated; rapid shutdown is optional.
  • Type II AC surge protection fitted, Type I+II optional.

Delivery 1

Derived from de-linker's own published GW50K07-BTC at 4925, scaled by maximum output to grid: 52.5 over 55 kVA gives 4700.

  • Multi-pallet freight at 124 kg net; the battery cabinet ships separately with its own ADR handling.
  • Lead time confirmed after order rather than quoted from stock.
