Chint DDSU666 (single-phase DIN-rail smart meter, direct to 80 A)
Chint DDSU666 is the single-phase DIN-rail smart meter behind single-phase export limitation: direct connection to 80 A, RS485.
- Direct connection to 80 A: the conductor runs through the meter, so no CT to size and no ratio to configure.
- RS485 out to the inverter or energy manager, which is what makes zero-export or a fixed feed-in cap enforceable rather than estimated.
- Small: 98 x 36 x 65 mm and 200 g on a mounting rack, under 1 W, IP54, -40 to +60 °C.
- Wide supply window — 220/230/240 V at 0.7 to 1.2 Un — so it keeps measuring on a weak or a stiff connection.

Configuration 2
Phases, and with them the size.
- DDSU666 (this one): single-phase, one measuring element, 98 x 36 x 65 mm, 200 g.
- DTSU666: three-phase, 72 x 100 x 65 mm, 330 g.
- Both: direct connection to 80 A, RS485, backlit LCD.
If the house is on a single-phase connection, this is the one.
Not up to 80 A. This is a direct-connect meter — the live conductor passes through it.
- Advantage: nothing to size, nothing to clamp, no ratio to set, so one common source of commissioning error is removed.
- Limit: above 80 A you need a CT-based meter instead. Tell us the main fuse rating on the enquiry and we will say which one you want.
Installation & wiring 1
At the grid connection point, on a mounting rack in the board.
- Position: at the feed-in point, so it sees the whole house import and export rather than one circuit.
- Interface: RS485 to the inverter or energy manager.
- Supply: 220/230/240 V, 0.7 to 1.2 Un, under 1 W.
Availability & compliance 1
It is a Chint meter. SAJ resells it under its own documentation, which is the document we hold and link here — the same arrangement as the DTSU666 already on the site, which is also sold as a Chint part.
- Standards: CE and RoHS.
- Delivery: parcel at 200 g net, no dangerous-goods handling.
- Lead time: confirmed after order.
