Description

Precision magnetic core for wide dynamic load accuracy.

Chint BH-0.66 30I 200/5 is a 200/5 A high-precision Class 0.5S solid-core current transformer with a 5 VA burden rating, engineered to step down commercial three-phase service currents for Chint DTSU666-CT and GoodWe GM330 commercial smart meters.

  • 200/5 A Transformation Ratio

Steps down primary currents up to 200 A into standard 5 A secondary signals for commercial energy meters and protection relays.

  • Class 0.5S High Precision Standard

Meets strict IEC 61869-2 accuracy requirements across wide dynamic load ranges, even under light commercial loading.

  • 5 VA Rated Burden Capacity

Supplies strong signal output to drive secondary wiring loops without phase-shift or amplitude degradation.

  • Flame-Retardant Busbar/Cable Mounting

Accommodates solid copper busbars up to 30 × 10 mm or cables up to 22 mm diameter with rugged flame-retardant casing.

More product details

Standard commercial current transformers lose measurement precision below 20% load, causing inaccurate zero-export throttling. The BH-0.66 30I features a specialized silicon-steel magnetic core certified to Class 0.5S.

  • Delivers certified Class 0.5S precision across 1% to 120% of rated nominal current.
  • 5 VA burden allows running secondary wiring leads to distant meter enclosures without accuracy loss.
  • 0.66 kV dielectric insulation rating ensures safety on 400 V commercial distribution systems.
Rugged busbar clamping with dual screw-lock terminals.

Rugged busbar clamping with dual screw-lock terminals.

Installing CTs in crowded commercial switchgear requires secure mechanical mounting that prevents vibration-induced shifting. 30 × 10 mm central window accepts flat copper busbars or heavy cables up to 22 mm diameter. Integrated busbar clamping screws lock the transformer securely in place. V0 flame-retardant polycarbonate housing operates reliably from -5 °C to +40 °C.

Solid core: it goes on with the cable

The conductor threads through the window as the run is made, and once the transformer is on there is nothing to clip, latch or re-close over its service life. It fastens to a plate or straight onto the busbar, vertical or horizontal, wherever the incomer already runs.

Class 0.5S at its rated 5 VA

0.5S is the precision the meter above it can actually reach, and 5 VA is the budget the whole secondary loop runs on - the transformer's rating and the installation's quality are the same number seen twice.

660 V class, 50 and 60 Hz

Rated for low-voltage distribution up to 660 V, working from -5 to +40 °C below 80% humidity and 1000 m altitude - a main cabinet device, sized for the boards these feeds actually live in.

Technical data

Precision current step-down engineered for commercial switchboards, solar feed-in metering, and peak shaving.

200/5 A commercial current transformer with Class 0.5S high metering precision.

Designed for commercial electrical distribution boards and solar interconnection points, the BH-0.66 30I transforms primary currents up to 200 A into standard 5 A secondary signals. With Class 0.5S accuracy and a 5 VA rated burden, it provides clean, precise measurement for Chint DTSU666-CT and GoodWe GM330 commercial smart meters.

Product questions

How many CTs are required for a three-phase system?

3 current transformers (one for each phase: L1, L2, L3). Measuring a three-phase electrical panel requires 3 units of the BH-0.66 200/5 A CT, installed with identical orientation (P1 facing the grid side, P2 facing the load side).

System components

Required components

Chint DTSU666-CT smart meter

Item number: DLK-CHINT-DTSU666CT

BH-0.66's 5 A secondary matches the DTSU666-CT's required external-CT interface (3× /5A CTs, not included with the meter).
