Pylontech US2000C
Description
Pylontech US5000 is the flagship 48 V / 4.80 kWh rack-mount LFP battery module delivering 100 A continuous discharge (4.8 kW output from a single unit) and 95% depth of discharge, engineered to halve cabinet space and cabling in high-power 48 V off-grid and residential systems.
A single module delivers enough continuous current to drive a 5 kVA low-voltage inverter at 100% capacity without throttling.
Halves the number of battery modules, DC cables, and rack shelves required to build 10–20 kWh storage banks.
Delivers 4.56 kWh of usable energy per brick while retaining an extensive 6,000+ cycle calendar life.
Out-of-the-box CAN/RS485 handshake compatibility with Victron Energy, SMA, Solis, GoodWe, and Deye.
Standard low-voltage batteries require connecting 2 or 3 modules in parallel just to supply the continuous current demanded by a 5 kW inverter. The US5000 provides 100 A continuous output from a single unit.

Building a 15 kWh battery bank with smaller 2.4 kWh modules requires 6 packs, 12 heavy DC cables, and 12U of rack height. The US5000 builds the same bank with just 3 modules. Fits standard 19-inch telecoms and server racks with front-facing heavy-duty Amphenol terminals. Daisy-chain up to 16 modules in parallel (76.8 kWh total) on a single CAN bus without an external LV-Hub. Internal BMS balances cell voltages across 15S series strings in real time.
LFP cells sit in this 48 V brick. The case rating is IP20.
Recessed handles sit on both flanks. The front stays free for ports and LEDs.
CAN or RS485 uplinks the bank. Link ports daisy-chain module to module.
The apex 48 V low-voltage storage module engineered to minimize cabinet footprint and cabling complexity.
Maxing out Pylontech's 48 V low-voltage rack range, the US5000 delivers 4.80 kWh of LFP storage (4.56 kWh usable) and a massive 100 A continuous discharge capability. It halves rack space and inter-module cabling requirements for multi-kilowatt off-grid and residential retrofit installations.
Project fit
Scenarios that show which projects the Pylontech US5000 belongs in, what to verify before quoting, and when another model is the better pick.

Off-grid homes, remote telecommunications stations, or residential properties using a 48 V 5 kVA or 10 kVA inverter seeking dense, clean storage.
Two modules provide 9.6 kWh / 200 A capacity, easily running large inverter loads while cutting installation time in half.
Yes. Delivers 100 A continuous current (approx. 4.8 kW DC power). Unlike smaller 2.4 kWh batteries that are limited to 25 A or 50 A, a single US5000 delivers 100 A continuous current ($48\text{ V} \times 100\text{ A} = 4,800\text{ W}$), allowing it to drive a 5 kVA inverter under full load on its own.
