All three share one 48 V rack format and LFP chemistry; they differ only in usable capacity. Pick the module that divides cleanly into the target bank size.

  • Capacity points: US2000C 2.4 kWh, US3000C 3.55 kWh, US5000 4.8 kWh usable per module.
  • Scaling: stack multiple units to reach the target; for example 4 x 4.8 kWh = 19.2 kWh usable with US5000, or 4 x 3.55 kWh = 14.2 kWh with US3000C (simple arithmetic on the module ratings).
  • Expansion limits: expansion limits are a compatibility-review item; confirm the maximum module count against the latest manufacturer documents during final technical approval.

They are 48 V nominal, low-voltage class modules, so the inverter needs a matching 48 V battery input. High-voltage battery inputs do not fit this series.

  • Check first: inverter compatibility, usable capacity per module, expansion limits and enclosure rating; this is the compatibility checklist we apply at order review.
  • BMS: the manufacturer BMS manages charge windows and protection, so verify the specific inverter model's battery compatibility before quoting the bank.

No. The US series is rated IP20, an indoor rack format. Plan a dry indoor location or a suitable enclosure, and budget the grid-side metering the hybrid inverter needs.

  • Enclosure: IP20 across US2000C, US3000C and US5000; the modules are not weatherproof.
  • Metering: most hybrid inverters need a grid-side meter to enforce zero-export or self-consumption limits; we pair these banks with the Chint DTSU666 smart meter (DLK-CHINT-DTSU666) and a sized MBS KBU58 CT for the service's rated current.
  • Format: one rack format across all three capacities, so the mounting plan does not change if the bank is re-sized later.
