Pylontech LV-HUB-V2 parallel hub (multi-group master for Fidus batteries)
Pylontech Accessory

Pylontech LV-HUB-V2 parallel hub (multi-group master for Fidus batteries)

The parallel hub for Pylontech's low-voltage Fidus batteries: required as the master device whenever multiple battery groups are connected in parallel (Fidus Battery Plus FB-L-16 and Fidus Pro FB-L-5.12-EU).

  • Enables multi-group parallel banks - up to 6 strings, up to 19 batteries per group
  • Acts as the bank master toward the inverter's CAN/RS485 BMS link
  • Named as required hardware in Pylontech's official Fidus datasheets

Configuration 2

Only when the bank runs more than one battery group in parallel. Single-group banks connect to the inverter without a hub.

  • Without the hub: one group of Fidus Battery Plus (up to 16 units) or Fidus Pro (up to 20 units) links directly to the inverter.
  • With the hub: from the second group onward the LV-HUB-V2 is required and acts as the master; Pylontech's Fidus datasheets state up to 19 batteries per group.
  • Group count: the battery spec tables allow up to 6 parallel strings (groups).

Pylontech's datasheet footnotes allow up to 19 batteries per group and up to 6 parallel groups behind the hub.

  • Unit count: 6 groups x 19 batteries = 114 units maximum, simple arithmetic on Pylontech's two limits.
  • Energy example, Fidus Pro: at 5.12 kWh per FB-L-5.12-EU module, one full group is 19 x 5.12 kWh = 97.3 kWh.
  • Energy example, Fidus Battery Plus: at 16 kWh per FB-L-16 unit, one full group is 19 x 16 kWh = 304 kWh.
  • Sizing note: these are the datasheet ceilings; the workable bank size for a given inverter is confirmed in the system design.

Installation & wiring 1

The hub is the parallel-connection master of the bank: the battery groups parallel behind it, and it presents the bank to the inverter.

  • Comms: it acts as the bank master toward the inverter's CAN/RS485 BMS link.
  • Scope: it serves Pylontech's low-voltage Fidus batteries, the Fidus Battery Plus FB-L-16 (16 kWh) and the Fidus Pro FB-L-5.12-EU (5.12 kWh module).
  • Topology check: we confirm the exact wiring topology for your group count in the quote.

Availability & compliance 1

Pylontech documents the hub inside the Fidus battery datasheets rather than on its own sheet.

  • Documentation: both the Fidus Battery Plus and Fidus Pro datasheets state that the LV-HUB-V2 is required for multi-group parallel connection, acts as master, and that each group supports up to 19 batteries. A standalone LV-HUB-V2 datasheet was not found on Pylontech's public download portal at the time of writing.
  • Supply: we supply the hub together with the battery bank.
  • Paperwork: the applicable certificate set and the confirmed wiring topology are issued with the quote.
