Description
Synchronizing massive low-voltage battery banks under a single inverter link.
Pylontech LV-Hub-V2 is a centralized communication hub and BMS aggregator managing up to 5 parallel battery groups (up to 40 low-voltage modules, >190 kWh total), engineered to unify multi-bank telemetry into a single CAN/RS485 link for hybrid inverters.
Coordinates Up to 5 Battery Groups in Parallel
Aggregates up to 40 low-voltage modules (US2000C, US3000C, US5000, FB-L) into a unified system communication bus.
Single Master Inverter Interface
Consolidates multi-group battery diagnostics into one unified CAN/RS485 protocol stream for seamless inverter handshake.
Intelligent Group-Level Active Balancing
Synchronizes charging and discharging parameters across multiple parallel battery groups to prevent circulating currents.
Compact DIN-Rail or Wall Mounting
Sized for easy integration into standard electrical distribution cabinets and battery enclosure boxes.
More product details
Connecting more than 16 low-voltage battery modules in parallel exceeds the address space of a single CAN communication loop. The LV-Hub-V2 acts as a master aggregator across 5 distinct groups.
- Aggregates 5 separate group-level CAN channels into a single unified master CAN/RS485 inverter output.
- Real-time calculation of total system state-of-charge (SoC), max allowable charge current, and fault alarms.
- Ensures that hybrid inverters see the entire multi-group bank as a single massive battery entity.

Pylontech LV-HUB-V2 parallel hub (multi-group master for Fidus batteries)
Tool-free mounting with low-power DC bus operation.
Designed for seamless integration inside battery cabinets or distribution boards, the unit operates directly from the 48 V battery bus with negligible parasitic draw. Draws low operating power directly from connected battery communication lines (< 2 W). Compact chassis mounts on standard 35 mm DIN rails or screws directly onto cabinet backplanes. Optically isolated communication transceivers protect against ground loops and industrial electrical noise.
Holds six groups on one master
Six parallel groups sit behind this head. Nineteen batteries fill each group.
Pairs with both Fidus lines
FB-L-16 cabinets and FB-L-5.12-EU bricks both use this head. One group of either line still links without it.
Takes CAN or RS485 upstream
The hybrid hears one bank. CAN and RS485 both leave this head.
Technical data
BMS aggregation and protocol synchronization engineered for large 48 V residential and commercial storage banks.
Central communication hub enabling parallel scaling of up to 5 multi-battery groups.
Designed to coordinate multi-battery commercial and large residential installations, the LV-Hub-V2 aggregates communication from up to 5 parallel battery groups (up to 40 individual modules). It synchronizes BMS data, state-of-charge, and safety commands into a single CAN/RS485 link for the hybrid inverter, eliminating communication limits when expanding beyond 16 modules.

Pylontech LV-Hub Communication Hub Installation ManualProduct questions
When is the LV-Hub-V2 strictly required in a Pylontech 48 V installation?
When connecting more than 16 modules in parallel, or organizing batteries into separate physical groups. Standard Pylontech US2000C/US3000C/US5000 modules support daisy-chaining up to 16 units on a single CAN bus. When the total module count exceeds 16 (up to 40 modules), or when battery banks are divided into distinct physical racks (e.g., 4 racks of 8 modules), the LV-Hub-V2 is mandatory to aggregate communication.
