More product details

Monitoring multi-megawatt commercial plants requires capturing both inverter AC output and ambient solar irradiance. The EzLogger3000C aggregates electrical telemetry while directly logging solar pyranometers and weather probes.

  • Dual optically isolated RS485 ports support up to 60 inverters, meters, and battery controllers.
  • Analog input channels interface directly with PT1000 temperature probes, radiation sensors, and wind meters.
  • Calculates real-time plant Performance Ratio (PR) to identify localized string shading or soiling losses.

Centralized parameter dispatch and industrial SCADA integration.

Managing sprawling solar assets demands centralized control. The EzLogger3000C provides a secure Ethernet bridge to the GoodWe SEMS cloud and third-party SCADA monitoring systems. Batch firmware updating and remote power limit dispatch reduce truck rolls and on-site maintenance costs. Supports Modbus TCP protocol for seamless integration into factory SCADA and building automation systems. Local data buffering retains telemetry records during internet dropouts, automatically re-syncing upon reconnection.

Product questions

What is the maximum RS485 cable distance supported by the EzLogger3000C?

Up to 1,000 meters per RS485 bus line with shielded twisted-pair cable. Using high-quality shielded twisted-pair cable (STP, e.g., Belden 3106A / 24 AWG) with 120 Ω termination resistors, each RS485 loop can extend up to 1,000 meters, easily traversing large commercial building roofs and solar fields.

Can the EzLogger3000C execute zero-export dynamic power limitation?

Yes, when paired with a GoodWe smart meter (such as GM330). The logger reads grid import/export data from the smart meter in real time and broadcasts active power curtailment commands to all connected inverters via RS485 to prevent unauthorized grid injection.
