Configuration 3
All three are AC-coupled LFP cabinets with an integrated PCS; they differ in C-rate and energy per cabinet.
- A100-OMNI, power duty: 108 kWh on the M1C platform at a continuous 1C, so one cabinet delivers its full 100 kW; that is what frequency-response and demand-response programs pay for.
- A200-OMNI, energy duty: 203.84 kWh on the M5-200kWh-1000V platform at 0.5C for load-optimized, AC-coupled storage.
- L260-OMNI: 260 kWh with a 125 kW PCS, liquid cooling and a cycle life above 8,500, aimed at arbitrage, ancillary service, demand response and backup duty.
No. Pylontech documents the DC/AC block as PCS data, not a hybrid inverter, and no PV or MPPT input appears on any OMNI datasheet. The cabinets couple on the AC side.
- PV stays separate: keep PV generation on its own inverters; the OMNI cabinet charges and discharges against the AC bus.
- Closed system: the OPTIM US range has no third-party battery or inverter port.
- Relation to HY models: the OPTIM US HY cabinets (A100-HY, A300-HY) integrate a hybrid inverter stage rather than a PCS; the OMNI line is the AC-coupled variant of the series.
Each model parallels up to six cabinets. Per Pylontech's datasheets:
- A100-OMNI: 100 to 600 kW and 108 to 648 kWh across one to six cabinets, coordinated over Modbus.
- A200-OMNI: 100 kW per PCS with one to six PCS blocks, giving 203.8 to 1,222.8 kWh and up to 600 kW.
- L260-OMNI: one to six cabinets step from 260 to 1,560 kWh with 125 to 750 kW of PCS.
- Arithmetic check: the L260 steps are simple multiples of one cabinet, for example 6 x 260 kWh = 1,560 kWh and 6 x 125 kW = 750 kW.

The published sets differ per model, so confirm the certificate set for your target market with the quote.
- A100-OMNI: Pylontech lists UN38.3, IEC 62619, IEC 62040-1, CE, UKCA, VDE 2510-50, UL 1973, UL 9540A, UL 9540, IEC 62477-1 and grid connection to EN 50549-1/-2.
- L260-OMNI: IEC 62619, IEC 62040-1, CE, VDE 2510-50, UL 1973 and UL 9540A; its sheet lists no grid-connection codes.
- A200-OMNI: no certificate list appears in the datasheet data we publish for it.
- German grid connection: no VDE-AR-N 4105 entry appears in this family's data, so have the certificate status confirmed in writing before committing a German site.
Installation & wiring 1
Per Pylontech's datasheets, all three are outdoor IP55 cabinets with aerosol fire suppression; cooling and climate limits differ per model.
- Cooling: air cooling on A100-OMNI and A200-OMNI, liquid cooling on L260-OMNI with 2.56 kW consumption.
- Climate: -25 to 45 C on A100, -20 to 55 C on A200, -25 to 50 C on L260; altitude up to 2,000 m on A100 and 3,000 m on A200 and L260.
- Corrosion class: C5 on A100-OMNI, C3 on A200-OMNI, C3 with optional C5 on L260-OMNI; match to coastal exposure.
- Handling: cabinet weights are 2 t, 2.8 t and 2.9 t respectively; plan the foundation and lift accordingly.
- Control: Modbus TCP/IP and RTU on A100 and A200, Ethernet Modbus TCP on L260.

The figures differ enough between models to move the business case, so quote per model, not per family.
- Round-trip efficiency: 95 percent on A100-OMNI at 0.5C, above 95 percent on L260-OMNI, and 87 percent on A200-OMNI per its transcribed datasheet.
- Cycle life: above 7,000 cycles on A100-OMNI and above 8,500 on L260-OMNI, both at 98 percent single-string depth of discharge.
- Overload: A100-OMNI holds 120 percent for 60 seconds; L260-OMNI is rated 110 percent.
- Duty modes: L260-OMNI covers ancillary service, electricity arbitrage, demand response and backup; A200-OMNI runs AC-coupled, load-optimized operation.
