Configuration 2

It is a 51.2 V low-voltage battery designed for GoodWe low-voltage hybrid inverters, GoodWe states full compatibility with its LV inverter range and maintains an official battery compatibility overview listing the exact pairings and firmware requirements.

Warranty condition: the battery system shall be installed with a GoodWe-brand inverter; for any third-party inverter, compatibility must be confirmed with GoodWe in advance.

Up to 30 units parallel over the dual-terminal daisy-chain, with integrated current limiting handling expansion and automatic parallel recovery.

  • Expansion window: GoodWe’s warranty recommends expanding within one year of the production date
  • After that: because the old units have degraded, new units in the bank are charged/discharged only to the maximum capacity of the old ones

When expanding or maintaining, run a full charge/discharge cycle with the inverter.

Availability & compliance 1

The datasheet lists safety certification to IEC 62619, IEC 60730 and IEC 63056 with CE marking (EMC: CE) and UN38.3/MSDS for transport.

  • Physical safety: IP65 enclosure, thermal-electric separation with cell-level heat isolation, a pressure-managed LFP design and an optional aerosol fire suppression system

Grid-connection codes such as VDE-AR-N 4105 apply to the inverter, not to a DC-coupled battery, the paired GoodWe hybrid inverter carries those certificates.

Operation & warranty 2

Warranty coverage

  • Product warranty: 5-year on the electronics and enclosure (battery cover, fuse, BMS PCBA, heating and fire-suppression assemblies)
  • Performance warranty: 10-year; system retains 70% of usable energy (14.90 kWh reference) or reaches 53 MWh minimum through-output energy, whichever comes first

Coverage assumes up to one full cycle per day, installation with a GoodWe inverter, and start from first installation or 6 months after production.

Discharge is rated from -20 C and GoodWe’s heating technology keeps the battery operable from -20 to +55 C; without active heating, charging is only permitted from 0 C upward (charging range 0 to +55 C).

  • Enclosure: IP65 rating covers dust and splash water
  • Long storage: before commissioning, GoodWe specifies 35-45% SOC and a cycling refresh every 12 months
