EcoFlow Battery Stack Bridge
Official bracket set for dual-tower EcoFlow battery systems: rigidly ties two adjacent battery towers together for mechanical stability, compatible with OCEAN 2 5 kWh / 8 kWh packs and the gen-1 PowerOcean pack.
- Ties two adjacent battery towers into one rigid assembly
- Compatible with EF BD-5-S2, EF BD-8-S2 and gen-1 EF BD-5.1-S1 packs
- EcoFlow recommends bracing both sides of every battery unit (12 brackets for 6+6 towers)

Configuration 3
It is required only for dual-tower systems, where two battery stacks stand side by side as a parallel pair. A single tower does not use it.
- Dual-tower floor installs: EcoFlow recommends tying the towers together with these brackets, securing both sides of each battery unit in both towers.
- Single tower: one floor-standing stack of up to 6 modules stands on its own base with no bridge.
- Wall mounts: wall-mounted stacks are limited to 3 modules and use the wall-mount hardware instead, so the bridge does not apply.
- Seismic zones: EcoFlow calls for additional seismic restraint on top of the bridge brackets.
The bridge covers EcoFlow's stackable LFP batteries, and EcoFlow mandates identical models on both sides of a bridge.
- Compatible batteries: PowerOcean LFP Battery (EF BD-5.1-S1), OCEAN 2 LFP Battery 5 kWh (EF BD-5-S2) and OCEAN 2 LFP Battery 8 kWh (EF BD-8-S2).
- No mixed pairs: a 5 kWh tower cannot be bridged to an 8 kWh tower; plan both towers around the same module type before quoting.
- Tower height: a floor-standing tower carries up to 6 modules on its base, so a bridged pair tops out at 2 x 6 modules.
Count on securing both sides of each battery unit in both towers, which is EcoFlow's stated rule for parallel stacks.
- Worked example: EcoFlow's guide puts two 6-module towers at 12 brackets.
- Shorter towers: the same both-sides rule applies; state the module count of each tower in the enquiry and the bracket count is confirmed on the quote.
- Seismic zones: budget for additional seismic restraint beyond the brackets themselves.
Installation & wiring 1
The bridge fixes the gap between the two battery bases, and the base hardware handles the levelling.
- OCEAN 2 bases: 94.6 to 104.5 mm between the two towers.
- PowerOcean bases: 95.4 to 105.4 mm.
- Levelling: the OCEAN 2 battery base has adjustable feet and a built-in spirit level; level both towers before fitting the brackets.
- Stacking: per EcoFlow's documentation the modules stack wire-free on the base's click-on terminal.
- Safety scope: per EcoFlow's installation guide the brackets are fitted by a certified electrician with the system de-energized, and the bracket structure must not be altered.
