Trina Solar TS4-F2 is the female socket half of Trina's TS4 field-assembly PV connector pair, rated 1,500 V DC to both IEC and UL and 46 A at 6 mm², with IP68 sealing once mated and crimped tin-plated copper contacts, engineered for durable DC string terminations on 4–6 mm² solar cable.
Rated 1,500 V DC to both IEC and UL, with a 16 kV rated impulse voltage.
46 A at 6.0 mm² and 41 A at 4.0 mm², measured at 85 °C ambient.

A string termination is only as good as its crimp. The TS4-F2 terminates by crimping onto tin-plated copper contacts sized for 4.0 or 6.0 mm² conductor and a 5.6–6.8 mm cable outer diameter, and locks when mated so the pair cannot be pulled apart by hand.

Sealed to IP68 once mated
A rooftop termination stands in rain and standing water for the life of the array. Mated, this connector is rated IP68 to 1 m for 1 h; unmated it is IP2X, so it is protected on the reel but only sealed once the pair is closed. Insulation is m-PPE / PA with a UL94-V0 flame class, and the working range is −40 °C to +85 °C.

Conductor cross-section is 4.0 or 6.0 mm² (12 / 10 AWG) over a cable outer diameter of 5.6–6.8 mm. Termination is by crimping onto tin-plated copper contacts — not screw or push-fit — so the joint is made with a crimp tool, not by hand.
Contact resistance at or under 0.5 mΩ
Rated 41 A at 4.0 mm², 46 A at 6.0 mm² and 55 A at 10.0 mm², all measured at 85 °C. Rated impulse voltage is 16 kV, protection class II, pollution degree 2.
