Compatibility 1
It depends on the module, and the module datasheet decides it — not this page. Look for maximum series fuse rating. The Trina TSM-450NEG9R.28 we carry states 20 A, which is exactly this fuse.
Never fit a link rated above what the module allows. The HP10M series runs from 1 A to 32 A, so if your module says otherwise, ask us for that rating instead.

Because a PV string is a current-limited DC source. A fault current can sit just above the fuse rating for a long time without ever reaching the level an ordinary fuse needs to clear, and DC does not help by crossing zero. gPV links are built to break at those low currents, and to survive the daily thermal cycling of a roof.
