GoodWe LX U5.0-30
GoodWe LXU 5.0-30 is the 5 kWh low-voltage battery of the Lynx U G3 Series, 51.2 V nominal, designed for residential systems and scalable to 30 units in parallel.
- 48 V-class LFP chemistry, sized for low-voltage inverter systems rather than the high-voltage Lynx D / Home F / C lines.
- GoodWe's compatibility documentation lists this battery against its ES, EM, SBP, ES G2, SBP G2, ES uniq, EO, ET LV and ES LD low-voltage inverters, requiring BMS version 01 or higher.

Configuration 2
The LX U5.0-30 is a 48 V-class LFP module for GoodWe's low-voltage inverter lines, not for the high-voltage Lynx D, Lynx Home F or Lynx C ranges.
- Cleared pairings: GoodWe's compatibility documentation lists this battery against its ES, EM, SBP, ES G2, SBP G2, ES uniq, EO, ET LV and ES LD low-voltage inverters.
- Firmware condition: the battery BMS must be version 01 or higher.
- Electrical window: 51.2 V nominal, 43.2 to 58.24 V operating range, CAN communication to the inverter.
GoodWe rates the Lynx U at 30P, meaning up to 30 modules in parallel on one bank.
- Capacity steps: each module adds 5.12 kWh nominal and 5 kWh usable; a full 30-module bank reaches 30 x 5 kWh = 150 kWh usable (simple arithmetic on the datasheet figures).
- Power per module: 90 A maximum continuous charge, 100 A maximum continuous discharge and 4.95 kW continuous per GoodWe's datasheet, with pulse discharge below 200 A for 30 s.
- Applications: GoodWe rates the module for on-grid, on-grid plus backup and off-grid systems.
Installation & wiring 1
The enclosure is rated IP65, and GoodWe specifies wall-mounted or grounded installation.
- Ambient window: 0 to 40 C, with 10 to 30 C recommended; the optional heating package extends operation to -20 C.
- Charge vs discharge: charging is permitted from 0 to 55 C and discharging from -20 to 55 C, so unheated cold sites limit charging first.
- Handling: 50 kg per module at 460 x 580 x 160 mm; plan a two-person lift.
- Site limits: 5 to 95% relative humidity and up to 4000 m altitude.
Operation & warranty 1
GoodWe's datasheet rates the LX U5.0-30 at more than 6000 cycles.
- Test condition: the cycle figure applies at 25 +/- 2 C, 0.5C rate and 90% depth of discharge, down to 70% state of health.
- Efficiency: round-trip efficiency of 96% or higher per GoodWe.
- Storage before commissioning: maximum 12 months, maintenance-free.
- Options: heating and aerosol fire suppression are optional extras; specify them at order time if the site needs low-temperature operation or added fire protection.
Availability & compliance 1
GoodWe lists battery safety, EMC and transport certification for the Lynx U G3 series.
- Safety: VDE 2510-50, IEC 62619, IEC 62040, N140 and IEC 63056.
- EMC: EN IEC 61000-6-1 through -6-4.
- Transport and materials: UN38.3 with ADR road transport, RoHS.
- Grid connection: grid-code certification sits with the paired inverter, not the battery; confirm the certificate set required by your grid operator with the quote.
