More product details
Operating below the 60 V DC safety threshold (Safety Extra-Low Voltage), the LX U5.0-30 eliminates high-voltage shock hazards and simplifies domestic electrical inspection requirements.
- 16S series prismatic LFP cell arrangement provides a stable 51.2 V nominal DC bus.
- Universal compatibility with 48 V single-phase hybrid and off-grid inverters (such as GoodWe ES, EM, and SBP series).
- Direct CAN and RS485 communication protocols deliver real-time cell-level state-of-charge data to the inverter.

Scalable from 5 kWh to 32 kWh in a robust IP65 enclosure.
Designed to scale with growing household energy demands, the LX U5.0-30 allows parallel linking of up to 6 modules on a single battery bus, delivering up to 100 A continuous power. Auto-addressing parallel communication simplifies adding modules without manual dip-switch configuration. Maximum continuous discharge: 50 A (2.88 kW) for single module; 100 A (5.76 kW) for 2 to 6 parallel modules. IP65 rated aluminum enclosure protects cells against moisture, dust, and coastal humidity (-10 °C to +50 °C).
Fits a wall or a floor plate
The 460 x 580 x 160 mm case hangs or stands. 50 kg either way.
Adds more bricks beside the first
Each extra brick stands on its own feet. A bank can pass thirty units on one parallel set.
Talks over CAN to the low-voltage hybrid
CAN sits on this brick. ES, EM, SBP and the other listed low-voltage lines read it as one store.
Technical data
The dependable 48 V battery building block for single-phase hybrid and off-grid solar systems.
Safe 48 V low-voltage LFP storage for flexible residential retrofit and expansion.
Designed for standard 48 V low-voltage inverter systems, the LX U5.0-30 delivers 5.0 kWh of safe lithium iron phosphate storage in a flexible floor-standing or wall-mounted format. It supports parallel expansion up to 6 units (32.4 kWh rated / 28.8 kWh usable), providing a safe, accessible storage path for domestic solar retrofits without high-voltage DC hazards.

GoodWe Lynx U G3 Series datasheet (EN) GoodWe LX U5.0-30 Battery DatasheetProduct questions
Can the LX U5.0-30 be connected to a GoodWe ET three-phase hybrid inverter?
No. GoodWe ET inverters require high-voltage batteries (180–600 V). The LX U5.0-30 is a 48 V low-voltage battery (51.2 V nominal). GoodWe ET three-phase hybrid inverters have a minimum DC battery input threshold of 180 V DC. For GoodWe ET three-phase systems, choose Lynx Home F or Lynx D high-voltage batteries. The LX U5.0-30 is designed for 48 V single-phase hybrid and AC-coupled inverters (such as GoodWe ES, EM, and SBP).
What is the maximum continuous discharge current for 1 module vs multiple modules?
50 A (2.88 kW) for 1 module; 100 A (5.76 kW) for 2 or more modules. * 1 Module: Max. continuous discharge is 50 A (approx. 2.88 kW). * 2 to 6 Modules in Parallel: Total system discharge current is capped at 100 A (approx. 5.76 kW), providing the full power needed to drive a 5 kVA residential inverter at 100% capacity.
